Slack Integration

Get instant notifications in Slack when contracts are generated, signed, sent, or expired. Keep your team in the loop without leaving your chat.

Prerequisite

This integration must be enabled by your workspace admin. If you don't see a Connect button, contact your admin.

What it does

  • Real-time alerts: Get notified in a Slack channel when contract events happen.
  • Customizable events: Choose which events trigger notifications — contract generated, signed, sent, expired, or team invite accepted.
  • Test messages: Send a test webhook to verify your setup is working.

How to connect

  1. 1

    Create a Slack webhook

Go to your Slack channel settings and create an Incoming Webhook:

    • Open Slack and go to the channel where you want notifications
    • Click the channel name → Settings → Add Apps
    • Search for Incoming Webhooks and add it
    • Copy the webhook URL provided
  2. 2

    Open Integrations in SignetX

Navigate to your Integrations page and find Slack under the Notifications tab.

  3. 3

Click Connect and paste the webhook URL

Click Connect, paste your Slack webhook URL into the input field, and select which events you want to be notified about.

  4. 4

    Test and save

Click Send Test Message to verify the webhook works. You should see a test message in your Slack channel. Then click Save.

Available events

  • Contract Generated — A new contract was created with AI
  • Contract Signed — A contract was signed by a party
  • Contract Sent — A contract was emailed to a recipient
  • Contract Expired — A contract has passed its expiration date
  • Team Invite Accepted — A new member joined your team

Disconnecting

To disconnect, click Configure on the Slack card, then click Disconnect. You should also remove the webhook from your Slack channel settings.
